Working on rare materials.
It is James’ love of marble that inspired him to become a stonemason. Many rare and antique marbles are exceedingly fragile, requiring not only a deep understanding of their properties, but also exceptional skills to work. This is why James has undertaken conservation projects in many of the world’s most prestigious buildings. He has frequently been required to liaise on behalf of his clients with Listed Buildings. James is also known in the industry for his ability to recreate a honed, old-fashioned finish, and his passion for perfection can be seen in anything that leaves his factory.
