There are so many marbles, from all corners of the globe, that not only are some hard to identify, but they are even harder to source. James is an acknowledged expert on provenance, as can be seen in the Swedish Green Bathroom Project, and he regularly travels internationally to visit the most important marble quarries. In the event that he identifies a material that is no longer available, he can usually match it with an aesthetically acceptable alternative, ensuring always that it is both structurally sound and of the highest quality available.
