Bespoke detailing.
With the amount of restoration work he does, James not only needs an encyclopaedic knowledge of architectural history, but the skills to recreate even the smallest details. Whether he is manufacturing the most complicated mouldings, structurally reinforcing items, creating or fixing bespoke fittings, or perfecting the bookmatching of a job, he is never happier than when he is faced with a challenge. James is the stonemason clients turn to when they have a seemingly intractable problem.
